Leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) have failed to reach an agreement with the Mali Army leader Col. Assimi Goita to hand over to a civilian government.
They've been meeting in Ghana with the military group that overthrew President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita to persuade him to agree to their proposal.
