South African retailer Clicks has been the target of violent protests by members of the country’s third-largest political party, the Economic Freedom Fighters. The outrage was sparked by a racially insensitive hair product advert, which was posted on the company’s website. Less than a week later, Clicks has accepted a senior executive’s resignation.
