UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson says life chances for a generation of children will be harmed if they don't return to school in September.
The UK's four chief medical officers have also all signed a letter insisting schools are safe for children despite the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
The government is attempting to reassure parents, teachers and unions that it's right for all children to get back to full-time education.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England Dr Jenny Harries, says the balance of risk is clear.
