LONDON POLICE STOP & SEARCH UP BY 40% DURING LOCKDOWN

London's Metropolitan Police Service used 'stop and search' powers 40% more frequently during the COVID-19 lockdown than the same period last year.


But there was no similar increase in the proportion of arrests, and that's worrying civil liberties campaigners.
