Australian Taxpayers look to be likely to have to fund more than $1 billion to the victims of the federal government's bungled robodebt scheme after Attorney-General Christian Porter conceded the Commonwealth may have to pay damages to the hundreds of thousands of people that were hit with debt notices based on flawed calculations.
