Los Angeles wakes to state of emergency after violent protests

Intro:

Protests over the death of Goerge Floyd turned violent across Los Angeles forcing the Mayor Eric Garcetti to order a curfew for the entire city.

Demonstrators marched the streets, burned police cars, looted retail businesses and vandalised buildings.
