Rwanda Honors Those Killed in Genocide 25 Years Ago

Rwandans have begun a weeklong celebration to honor those killed during the 1994 gencocide against the Tutsi minority.

About a million Rwandans, most of them from the country's Tutsi minority tribe and moderate Hutus were killed during the 1994 genocide.

The killings started after former President Juvenal Habyarimana and his counterpart Cyprien Ntaryamira of Burundi, both Hutus were killed when their plane was shot down.
