Losses on Wall Street following ugly jobs data

U.S. stocks tumbled on Thursday following news that 3.8 million
Americans filed for unemployment benefits last week. That brings the
total to over 30 million since the pandemic began.

The markets also reacted to reports that Washington is preparing to
punish China for its handling of the Covid-19 outbreak.
