Hopes for Spain as death toll falls for fourth consecutive day

There are hopes the worst may be over in Spain, where the rate of new infection is said to be falling in every region of the country and the death toll has fallen for the fourth consecutive day.

In Italy and France, there was in increase in the death rate- but signs that the rate of new infection is slowing. 

Lockdowns have been extended until past the Easter weekend, and are predicted to stay in place for several weeks.
