UK SETS OUT CORONAVIRUS CONTINGENCY PLANS

The UK government is setting out its plan to tackle a possible wide-scale coronavirus outbreak.

Measures include urging people to work from home and restrict their travel, if the virus spreads further.

Retired doctors and nurses could also be drafted in to help deal with patients, as part of the contingency plans.

39 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the UK but health officials are warning it's highly likely it will spread.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock says the UK is still at the stage of trying to contain the virus.
