The World Health Organization is urging governments across the globe to pull out "all the stops" in the fight against the new coronavirus.
Nearly 97,000 people in 81 countries have been infected with the virus.
Cases have been reported in 16 US states, and California has declared a state of emergency after announcing its first coronavirus death.
