Governor of New York issues "stay home" order for entire non-essential workforce

The Governor of New York is ordering all employees in the state the remain at home for the foreseeable future, exempting only the emergency services, pharmacies and grocery stores.

The order applies to the whole of New York state, and comes just hours after the Governor of California ordered a lockdown of 40 million people there.
