Coronavirus: US halts travel from Europe to US

To slow the spread of coronavirus, US President Donald Trump is
halting all travel from Europe to America.

The 30-day ban comes after new cases and deaths skyrocketed in Italy,
with the Italian government putting the country on lockdown.

President Trump also said he'd ask the US Congress to release $50
billion dollars of funding to provide low-interest loans, and cut
payroll taxes to bolster the economy.

He laid out the travel ban as a crucial way to stop the virus spreading further.
