In Australia, Sparks have flown during a Senate estimates hearing as the Labor Opposition attempted to elicit an admission that use of images of defence force personnel that appear in a video produced by the government about their bushfire response during the emergency in December was unconscionable.
It also left the head of the defence force, in his words, "discomfited" by the use of the images.
