Parisians breathe sigh of relief as record breaking transport strike almost over

After 46 days, the public transport strike in France is now almost at an end after the majority of unions headed back to work on Monday.

The UNSA union, which is well represented among Metro staff, voted to end the strike - but that doesn't mean union opposition to pension reform is over.
