DR Congo Protests Disrupt Business

Intro;

Commercial activities at the Uganda-DR Congo border of Mpondwe are on hold following protests over insecurity caused by the rebels of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).

Traders in the DR Congo town of Kasindi which borders with Uganda's Mpondwe have closed shop in solidarity with fellow Congolese who are demonstrating against the United Nations' failure to protect the area against rebel attacks.
