ANZANIAN PRESIDENTS PARDONS OVER 5000 PRISONERS AS THE COUNTRY CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE.

Tanzanian President John Magufuli has pardoned 5,533 prisoners as Tanzania marks 58 years of independence.

The head of state made the announcement at the CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza, where the national celebrations took place.
