The Myanmar army has been forced to deny it has chemical weapons after the US said it was concerned that Myanmar retains old stockpiles, despite signing onto the Chemical Weapons Convention in 2015. The issue was raised by a US official at a meeting for Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in the Hague.
