Turkey-Russia to begin joint patrols in Syria

Moscow and Ankara will begin jointly patrolling areas of northeastern Syria, in accordance with a deal struck between President Vladimir Putin and Turkey's Recep Erdogan.

This comes in the backdrop of reports of clashes on the ground between Syrian and Turkish troops.
