Myanmar is being sued for genocide against the Rohingya Muslim minorities in the country. The Gambia filed a lawsuit at the International Court of Justice on Monday, citing crimes of rape, murder, ethnic cleansing and destruction of evidence. More than 700.000 Rohingya Muslims have been displaced since Myanmar began a military crackdown in 2017.
