INVENTOR OF INTERNET LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN TO IMPROVE THE WEB

The inventor of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, has created a 'Contract for the Web', to try and avoid what he calls a 'digital dystopia'.

Fears over online harassment, the spread of disinformation, invasions of privacy, and election interference spurred the computer scientist to take action.
