Carrie Lam, the embattled chief executive of Hong Kong, arrives in Bangkok Thursday for a 2 day trip that seeks to deepen economic cooperation with Thailand. The trip comes after months of increasingly violent protests in Hong Kong and a recent election that saw the opposition candidates make historic gains.
