If you've flown into Sydney over the last few years you may have been left shaking your head when you had to search for evening entertainment and found the city's much-vaunted entertainment districts strangely quiet.
The New South Wales government a number of years ago instigated nightspot lock-out laws in an attempt to reign in alcohol fueled violence.
That is set to change.
