UK ELECTION CAMPAIGNS KICK OFF

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson's marking the day Britain was due to leave the EU with a speech blaming the latest Brexit delay on Jeremy Corbyn.

Both men are getting their parties' election campaigns into full swing.

Mr Johnson insists the opposition Labour Party is to blame for him failing to deliver his promise of Brexit on October 31st.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn says his party will take on the 'few who run a corrupt system' if it takes power in the December 12th election.

And he says spending pledges from the Conservatives don't do enough.
