Turkey offensive: UN warns of ISIS "resurgence"

The European countries on the United Nations Security Council have
called on Turkey to cease its military offensive in Syria, warning it
could lead to a "resurgence" of ISIS.

After the meeting the US ambassador warned Turkey there would
"consequences" if Turkey failed to protect civilians.
