Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Moscow is willing to play the role of an intermediary to resolve the latest tensions in the Middle East following Turkey's incursion into Kurdish-held areas of Northern Syria.
Experts add that Russia stands to gain from America's withdrawal from Syria- its long stated position has been that the American troops are in the region illegally.
