Thousands of demonstrators march through Barcelona streets

Thousands of peaceful demonstrators have marched through the streets
of Barcelona calling for independence and the release of prisoners.

On October 14th nine separatist leaders were handed up to 13 years in
prison over a failed independence bid back in 2017.

The decision has sparked ongoing protests in the Catalan region with
another large demonstration expected on Saturday.
