British Government in Second Attempt at Brexit Vote

The British Government says it will make a second attempt to hold a meaningful vote on Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Brexit deal on Monday.

This after a vote had been meant to take place on Saturday, but beforehand lawmakers backed an amendment requiring all Brexit legislation to be passed ahead of full approval being given, and therefore forcing the UK Prime Minister to ask the EU for an extension.

But the decision on whether the vote can go ahead Monday will be down to the Speaker of the House of Commons.
