UK PARLIAMENTARY SHOWDOWN AMID ELECTION SPECULATION

British MPs are expected to vote later on whether to seize control of House of Commons business to avoid a 'no deal' Brexit.

Opposition lawmakers are working on legislation to stop Britain leaving the EU at the end of October with no deal in place.
