MAYOR OF MOSCOW DESCRIBES 'ATTEMPTED RIOTS' IN WEEKEND PROTESTS

The Mayor of Moscow says organisers of an unsanctioned rally in Moscow on Saturday tried to drag people into what he called riots.

The authorities say 600 people were arrested during the protests - independent monitors put the figure as more than 800.
