India's north eastern state of Assam will publish the results of a census that will identify the state's legal residents this weekend.
Ahead of that, security in the region has been stepped up. The government has tried to allay concerns of mass arrests and deportations by saying that no one will be immediately stripped of their citizenship and there will be no detentions right away.
