BRITAIN'S NEW PM IN SPENDING DRIVE AHEAD OF BREXIT

Boris Johnson has pledged an extra £1.8bn for the National Health Service (NHS) saying the funding is due to Britain's "strong economic performance."


The new Prime Minister has announced several domestic spending pledges since taking office two weeks ago, prompting more questions over whether he may call an early general election before Brexit.
