Biden under fire in televised debate [CLIPS]

Former Vice-President Joe Biden's track record in office has come
under heavy fire from fellow Democrats vying to be the next President
of the United States.

Biden was one of 10 presidential hopefuls to take the stage for a
televised debate in the U.S. city of Detroit on Wednesday.

This was the second night in a row that Democratic candidates have
squared off in an attempt to become the party's challenger to Donald
Trump in the 2020 election.

The former Vice-President came under siege from California Senator
Harris for his stance on issues including women's rights, race and
healthcare.

Despite a crowded Democratic field Joe Biden has been the frontrunner
from the outset. After taking a number of political punches in last
month's debate he said he'd be less polite.

At this debate he again defended his long record in public service.

with the former President.
