South Sudan Peace Process

Intro;

The UN Refugee Agency - UNHCR is appealing to South Sudan leaders to speed up efforts to end what has become Africa's largest displacement crisis.

South Sudan gained independence eight years ago, but the world's youngest nation has tragically seen more war than peace.

The conflict has caused the displacement of about 1.9 million people internally, while over 2.3 million South Sudanese people are currently living as refugees in neighbouring countries.
