Iran says it welcomes French efforts to try to save the 2015 nuclear deal.
France's top diplomat is visiting Tehran on Wednesday in a bid to ease the crisis between Iran and the US.
It comes two days after Iran announced it had exceeded the uranium enrichment limit under the agreement.
