Police accused of responsibility after partygoer drowns in France

A new scandal over police violence is dominating headlines in France after the body of a young man was found in the River Loire in Nantes.

Steve Maia Caniço drowned after police broke up a party on the riverbank with tear gas in June; a police report says officers weren't responsible for his fall into the river, but his family's lawyer says a lot of questions remain unanswered.
