In Hong Kong, civil servants from at least 35 different departments, including the city's embattled police force, have threatened strike action if the government refuses to withdraw an extradition bill that's prompted weeks of protests there.
In an open letter addressed to the Chief Executive, they said they'd taken a neutral stance so far, but have now decided to break their silence.
