White House wants global coalition to protect Strait of Hormuz from Iranian attacks

The Trump administration is calling for a co-ordinated international response to counter the military threat posed by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.

While President Donald Trump has imposed further sanctions on Iran, US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo has been trying gather a global coalition of countries to protect the vital waterway.
