Theresa May to step down as UK Prime Minister

British Prime Minister Theresa May says she will step down as the conservative party leader on June 7th, allowing someone else to take over as Prime Minister after a leadership contest.

Her almost 3 year tenure has been dominated by the contentious Brexit process.
