EUROPEAN ELECTION CAMPAIGNS LAUNCHED

Several of the UK's main political parties are launching their European election campaigns - two weeks ahead of the vote.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May's described it as 'regrettable' that Britain is even taking part, having not been able to deliver Brexit.

Britons will vote in European elections on 23rd May.

Polls suggest they could be won by Nigel Farage's new Brexit Party, which is tapping into anger amongst some voters that Brexit has not yet taken place.

University of Kent Professor of Politics Matthew Goodwin says there's a key trend in British politics ahead of European elections.
