Synagogue Shooting Declared a Hate Crime

A shooting at a synagogue in southern California is being described as a hate crime. A woman was killed after reportedly attempting to save her rabbi. Three were injured by a man wielding a semi-automatic rifle, which reportedly jammed during the incident. It came exactly six months after a mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
