French prison guards blocked access to dozens of the prisons across the country on Wednesday morning, after an inmate wounded two guards in what the justice minister said was a terrorist attack.
About half the prisons in the country - 90 out of 188 - were blocked by protests early in the morning, although all but two had been opened by noon local time.
