The Mutual Defense Treaty between the US and the Philippines should be reviewed because of fears of a war with China - according to Manila's top defence official.
Delfin Lorenzana says the security situation in the region has become much more complex since the treaty was signed 68 years ago - and the Philippines does not want to get drawn into an armed conflict between the US and China.
