UN trade official warns of tariff impact

A trade official at the United Nations has warned that a U.S. move to
raise tariffs on Chinese goods would have a major impact on the global
economy.

Trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing are ongoing but the
Trump administration has threatened to increase tariffs by March 1st
if talks fail to make sufficient progress.
