Millions take holy dip at India's Kumbh Mela

Tens of millions of pilgrims have gathered in north India for the main bathing day of India's Kumbh Mela, braving the cold water to take a dip in the River Ganges.

The Hindu pilgrimage is one of the world's largest gatherings of people.
