Somalia expels UN envoy accused of undermining country's sovereignty

Somalia has expelled the United Nations' top envoy to the country, accusing him of interfering in the country's sovereignty, according to state media. 


Mogadishu's decision comes after the South African diplomat Nicholas Haysom raised questions about the detention of a former al-Shabaab leader.
