U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Advisor John Bolton are set to spend the next week touring the Middle East.
They plan to visit a total of eight countries in the region including Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The trip follows the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi and President Trump’s announcement that he plans to withdraw troops from Syria and Afghanistan.
