MAY TO RE-OPEN BREXIT TALKS

UK Prime Minister Theresa May's confirmed to British lawmakers she's going to try and re-open negotiations with the EU on a Brexit deal.

She says she'll try and win changes to the controversial Irish border backstop solution with a view to a deal that can win the support of enough MPs.

This despite Brussels saying the already-agreed Withdrawal Agreement can not be re-opened.

MPs will vote later (around 19G) on a series of amendments that could shape the future direction of Brexit.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May says it's no longer enough for MPs to say what type of Brexit they oppose.
