US government edges towards partial shutdown over border wall dispute


The US government is edging towards a partial shutdown at midnight on Friday local time in Washington, with President Trump holding out for nearly $6 billion for his border wall.

But Democrats are also digging in, saying they won't sign off on funding for the wall.
