TALKS OVER ENGLISH CHANNEL MIGRANT 'CRISIS'

UK Home Secretary Sajid Javid is chairing talks in London over the growing number of migrants heading across the English channel from France in small boats.

He says there are no 'easy answers', despite agreeing a joint action plan with France's interior minister.

Over 220 people have attempted the crossing from France to the UK since November.

Bishop of Barking Peter Hill, who's been taking a lead role for the Church of England on the issue, believes there needs to be more compassion.
